Whew! my new dental insurance just turned on!

It has been such a long time since I’ve been insured that I’ve been suffering from quite a lot of dental pain. The good news is, my new employer has an insurance plan that is extremely flexible. Because of that, I’m planning on having my teeth corrected immediately. My policy is so excellent, it turns out, that now I am seriously making plans for surpassing the usual basic dentistry measures and looking into some cosmetic dental work done also. My wife has been pestering me about doing some of those fancy new clear braces or some laser teeth whitening, so I’ll see what kind of prices we can get on having those done.

The big challenge, of course, is how to find a good dentist in our area. I honestly feel terrible admitting it, but my family doesn’t even have a regular family dentist that we know and trust. We live in Tampa, Florida, so I’ve been hunting for a Tampa Florida dentist that has a good reputation and has a wide range of experience with these particular types of services. It’s virtually impossible to find! There are a lot of things you have to think about when you’re finding a dentist. For example, I don’t know if I would want to see a dentist who got the majority of his experience working with families.

As far as the most current dentistry practices go, I’ve just really been toying around with the idea. The newest and most up-to-date approaches have really been taking off over the past ten years or so. I keep hearing about them on the radio, how much better they are than the more old-fashioned dentistry techniques. I’ve been looking around the internet for “dental implants Tampa” and it seems like the techniques and equipment they use is just light years ahead of what you would have expected to get twenty-five years ago, so I’m hoping that my family will end up being able to benefit from such great dentistry now that I have a better job.
